As CI/CD engineer you will operate within one of Aegon’s central teams tasked with defining and setting improving Continuous Delivery practices and techniques so that these are available for use by Aegon’s value teams (software delivery teams). You will involve in Communities of Practices for various disciplines existing across the Aegon IT organization. We are currently working with Azure DevOps and are going integrate this with Service Now and our AWS Cloud Services team.

The Software Factory team team needs a collaborative colleague that is eager to deep dive into innovative technology and is ready to start learning about sustaining the existing solution architecture. You will be coached by more senior Engineers in order to become the desired professional expert.

This is your future position, because you like:

• Analyze, prototype and evaluate CI/CD solution deployment strategies and design choices for accelerating IT4IT within Aegon NL
• Coordinate with and contribute to Aegon IT teams to continually evolve our CI/CD framework and processes and help them engage in CI/CD
• Demonstrate technical leadership by researching, informing, demonstrating trends in DevOps technologies, tools, trends and innovations
• Coordinate and contribute to the implementation of our DevOps and CI/CD standards across all Aegon NL IT teams.

And you fit these requirements:

• 4-8 Years of related experience in software development and operations, including direct experience implementing full CI/CD and IT4IT solutions.
• A demonstrable dev(eloper) mindset; knowledge of version control, branching strategies, build setup.
• Broad experience with Azure DevOps and AWS. In-depth experience with technical maintenance and configuration of the Atlassian and Jfrog toolset. Experience with Service Now is a pré
• Significant experience with multiple development languages such as Javascript, Phython, Node.JS, Typescript (ideal)
• Knowledge of code quality tools (ie. Sonar), vulnerability tools (ie. Checkmarx, Burp), deployment automation tools (ie. UrbanCode Deploy), reporting and production monitoring tool.
• Environment provisioning tools like packer
• Significant Scripting languages like bash, powershell and/or Cloudformation.
• The ability to involve and getting people familiarized and energized with the concept of Continuous Delivery.
